You should change your sanitary pad after 4 to 6 hours . Using the same pad all the day long is not only unhealthy but may cause infection and even UTI. You can also use menstrual cup instead of pads .

Wash your vaginal area properly atleast twice a day . This will helpful in removing harmful bacteria .
