Tips to lift your mood when you are disturbed:
*Go for a walk in nature outside:
Whenever I feel sad and tensed with any problem either it's a fight with my boyfriend or stressed with my family matters so I chose to sit at a place that's outside or far from my house. So I go for a long walk and go to my favorite silent and quite place . There I find peace and quietness. It's just a way to escape from your problems. I assure you that You will definitely feel fresh and found yourself free minded. So that's a very excellent way to destress yourself according to me. When I m in childhood even then I used to do so. In simply it's a technique that when something troubles you either any thought or any person or thing so you have two options. Either you just simply make it far from yourself or you go far from that as own. And you won't believe that I had done that so many times.
* Sleep occasionally:
I know it's very tough to sleep or rest when too many thoughts are running in your mind. But it is also a great tips itself to forget everything that troubles you. There is an interesting logic behind I m not sure that it's true or not but as per me when we fall asleep our mind immediately enters into a rest position so when we wake up its almost fresh nothing is running in our mind. We just go in state of unconsciousness. So all the negative thoughts are also vanished from our mind that was running before falling asleep. It works for the people who are also day sleepers. But if I tell you honestly I m a night sleeper but when I was in my school times then I fall asleep whenever I m tensed. But as time passes issues becomes so much bigger and critical that they are unable to let away. So it can be a good method for you if you try it .
*Follow your hobby:
When we do our hobby it itself gives us a feeling of pleasure and joy. I love to do painting, art and craft activities, watching tv and reading books. So whenever I feel I do the activities which I love most. And even it distracts your mind from all the things that make you sad. For a while we do forgot all our problems while doing our hobby activities. Basically it works as an escape from troubles. You can also do any other things that you like such as visiting some place, shopping, watching movies, dancing anything that you like to do. I mean to say that you should do anything that diverts your mind from your sadness.
*Clean your space:
When many things are running in our mind constantly then it creates a mess. So its not easy to clear or stabilize every thing mentally. It takes time. But if we talk about surrounding then you can do so easily. Just start to clean your room or rest place. You can also give it a renovation or change its look with your creative skills. And it also let you far from your stress and tensions. In addition it gives a sense of mental satisfaction that you had clear your mind from all negative energies as well and fill it with positive energy. I see many persons who used to do that to distress themselves. They used to engage themselves in lots of things. So its not a new habit. Even I also do the same thing. If you are stressed from your studies then engage with your family and friends but if you are tensed with your family then engage yourself in studies. So its works as vice-versa.
*Take a deep Breathe in fresh air:
It is said that when we are sad we fill ourselves with negative energy automatically. So its very very much important to let fresh air inside you and breath out all your negative thoughts. Vanish out all your emotions with that out breathe.
*Listen music:
Its one of the amazing way to distress your mind. Whenever I feel disturbed I listen songs and after a while I feel very relaxed and calm. So it really works . But the thing that you should kept your mind that don't listen sad songs whenever you feel sad. Because it will match with your emotions and leads to more disturbance. So always listen cool , calm , sweet and party music. I know whenever we are sad we want to listen only that music that is familiarize with our present state of mind whether it is happy or sad. But don't do this mistake. Remember that you are listening music because you want to be happy not more sad.
*Do some childhood activities:
Teenage is itself a very interesting stage of human life but even then we thought that our childhood was best. And it's true up to some extent. Because when we are child we are free and ignorant. There was not any stress and problems in our life at that time. So we feel that may we become a child again. But that's practically not possible. So thing that you can do is recreation you childhood again. I mean just do all the activities of your childhood now. I m very sure it will make you happy and peaceful. You can do :
Flow bubbles play
Eat things that you normally eat when you were a child.
Play games
Doll play
Collection of childhood things etc
*Be in the moment:
Whenever we are stressed there are two aspects i.e. past and future. Either we are tensed to think about our future or stressful with our past memories. That's our biggest mistake that makes us stressed . So in order to distress always be in your present. Don't care whatever will be your future and remember your past with a smile. Enjoy every moment of life then and there don't regret for anything. Because as like our life our happiness is also very short and uncertain . So stay happy and blessed with Everything whatever you have.
*self-care:
We are our first priority then anybody else matters. So it's our foremost responsibility to love and care ourselves. You can do some skincare, haircare, or have some healthy diet. So just focus on yourself. Start to love yourself first then others. Just take care of yourself. So you can do following things in your self-care routine:
• Eat healthy
• call an old friend and share with him
• compliment yourself
• stay hydrated
• make a goal list
• warm bath
• sleep early
• make new friends
• catchup with your family
• celebrate every moment
• learn new skill
• yoga
• take a nap
• show gratitude

*Connect:
It always depends on the nature of person whether he is talkative , bubblish, shy or interward. I m an interward and shy person so whenever I become sad I like to sit alone in a quiet place and don't want to talk with anybody. But all people don't have the same nature. They have the feeling to share their problems with anyone. It's not a bad thing and I think it's very good at all. Sharing means caring. If we share our problems with others then it itself heals us to most extent. So it's better that whenever we feel sad just call your loved ones or atleast with your parents because they are the person who really cares you the most. Don't keep too many thoughts roaming in your mind otherwise they will become appear in form of depression. Therefore just share them with others. It doesn't mean that you are weak if you are sharing your problems. It means that you really want to came out of them. And guys one more secret I wanna tell you. If you want to share your problems but a little bit hesitating then don't share it with your loved ones or family. Just share it with any stranger or unknown. You will feel very easy in doing this. The reason behind that is stranger will not judge you for anything because he don't know you and may be he will gave you a better advice.
* Cry as much as you can:
I know some of you will be amazed and laugh on this suggestion. But guys it's also a wonderful trick. Its a great way to let your all emotions at same time . It is said that when you cry all your feelings and stress also flow out with you tears. And your heart and mind becomes empty and you calm down completely. Whenever I become sad or have some conflicts with anybody I used to cry at once and make myself relaxed. So you should also try this. I didn't mean that you just cry at any cost or even if you want to cry. I mean to say that cry if you want to crying don't stop your emotions to come out.
